Over the last few years, Nebula CRS has been a steady migration of most of the legacy modules to allow our customers to experience a world class modern Central Reservations System (CRS).  This process, by design, was an evolution that allowed Nebula CRS to co-exist with eRes at clients – and allow users the choice of where and how to work.

Enhanced Rates Management, Demand Calendars and intelligent publishing and related functions were some of the first available features of Nebula CRS, but during 2019 a key focus of our developers was putting together a reservation and call centre module that would work for our clients.

This started with envisioning and research and after pulling in a number of diverse ideas we arrived at a cohesive and attractive design. This went through a number of iterations, and as you can imagine many developers worked really hard to make this a reality.

As with all our products, HTI likes to involve customers in our journey – ultimately our products are designed to solve your problems, and it would be remiss of us not to include you in the development of new features. Thank you to various clients (you know who you are) for coming on board and providing time – not only in the prototyping phase, but also the pilot phase where they will be working with our team to ensure the best possible experience.

During the first quarter of 2020 this product will be rolled out to these pilot sites, and from this process we will be incorporating new and enhanced features where possible, based on this feedback. In light of this, I think it is fair to say that 2020 will be a watershed year in terms of NebulaCRS, and in the meantime we thought we’d share a few screenshots of the old versus the new functionality to show you what’s coming!
