This is not our first rodeo wrt Cloud Computing, and as HTI is arguably the largest hospitality software development house in Africa, we embarked on this journey some time ago.

eRes CRS was our first web-based instance of hospitality software and has been a leading CRS solution for many years.  We are slowly putting eRes to bed as we prepare for the next generation in cloud computing and we take CRS to the browser, baby!

NebulaPMS is going to be closely built according to the extensive years of PMS and hospitality experience HTI has at it’s disposal, but with a very user centric approach.  HTI is also going to be utilising the latest cloud frameworks and cloud hosting solutions.

The usability of these applications (the entire Nebula Suite for that matter) is paramount and this is even more evident in the next piece in the puzzle coming soon – NebulaPOS

But before you get too excited, let’s take a step back and talk about what we have at our disposal today – NebulaPMS.  NebulaPMS has been through two iterations and has come along way and is aligning well with our high level strategy…

This objective is to bring you a complete cloud suite of core products, namely; CRS (w/Channel Management and Booking Engine), Property Management System (single view of availability and rates) and POS and Stock – all-in-one!

Along with this, HTI is innovating in more ways than ever, and we have explored various new technologies – some that will be available in v2018.1 of the NebulaCRS app and others that are going to debut in the coming months.  All of which we will publicise in more detail, closer to the time…

One of the hot topics that we are working on as well, is the ‘self check-in’ movement and the ability to put the services your property has to offer in the hands of the guest.  Guest facing apps are key to the future of hospitality and we are not oblivious to this!

Look out for more news on what we are planning in this space, but in the meantime, take a look at NebulaPMS on a tablet…  This already enables a more mobile and extensive front desk function and will afford the hotel the ability to roam the reception area, as well as other open areas and execute key job functions, such as Check-in, Check-out and Banqueting bookings (function sheets etc.)…
